How to Remove Mildew from Cotton Comforters
A mixture of salt, vinegar and water should remove mildew stains on most fabrics. Use up to full strength vinegar if mildew is extensive. Test a small area to see if the mildew is being removed, if not use Hydrogen Peroxide and Dawn and clean the spots with that. I would also suggest that you wash it in the launder mat, as their machines are larger than the ones in most homes. This way, the comforter has room to move around as it is washed.
