Am I Supposed to Buy a “Duvet” Set of Bedding to Get a Good Sheet/Comforter Set?
All that being said there is NO reason not to get a duvet cover for your existing comfortor. Yes it will fit.
Duvet sets normally come with the covering and 2 shams. Sheets are normally sold seperatly. Duvet covers protect the duvet/comfortor and are more easily washed. They can be buttoned…zippered..velcroed or ribbon tied. As far as Egyptian and Italian sheets they really aren’t all that exciting unless you get the real deal. Anything over a 300 TC is fine. Sateen being the smoothest feeling.
So… Look for a duvet set. Look for +300TC in the duvet cover and sheets. Check the sateen sheets for spring summer and fall. In the dead of winter don’t forgo the real 100% cotton flannel sheets. As long as the number is +300 get what you like. Save up for a yummy cotton comforter. Enjoy a good nights sleep!
